Allowing Guest Orders in a Web Store

By default, customers on your web store need to create an account in order to place an order within the store. However, this can be changed in your store’s settings.

 

STEP 1

First, log into the management area of your web store.

 

STEP 2

Once there, navigate to Settings > General Settings on the top navigation bar

 

STEP 3

Once in the general settings area of your site, navigate to the ‘users’ tab to display options specific to user accounts.

 

STEP 4

On the users tab, you will notice a checkbox towards the bottom labelled ‘Restrict access to registered users only’. As the label suggest, this option being enabled means users will have to create an account before they can access your store. Uncheck this box

When you’re happy, click on ‘Save Changes’ in the top-right to apply these options to your web store.
